July 28th USCCA Concealed Carry Course:  This 8-hour course is for anyone considering or currently carrying a firearm for self-defense and is designed for experienced shooters. The course addresses key concepts of conflict avoidance and situational awareness which are the foundation for developing your own personal protection plan. Training covers: self-defense firearms basics, defensive shooting fundamentals, the physiology of violent encounters, the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath), holsters and other equipment, and shooting skills development. NAFT-LLC uses a combination of laser training devices in the classroom and live fire on the gun range to teach basic and advanced shooting skills. Students receive USCCA's Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals training manual (a $29.95 value). The range activities require an Every Day Carry (EDC) firearm, your EDC holster, and 200 rounds of ammunition for your firearm. You will also need hearing protection and eye protection as well as appropriate clothing to include a concealment garment (vest, shirt, or jacket). Almost all of our range drills will begin with your firearm in a holstered and concealed position. Students must pass a written open book exam and demonstrate safe firearms handing to receive a USCCA course completion certificate. Course Fee: $185 ($75 deposit).  

Aug 4th USCCA Basic Handgun Course:  This 4-hour course is the foundation of the three USCCA self-defense courses and covers Self Defense Firearms Basics (safety, operations of various handguns, ammo, malfunctions and other defensive options), Defensive Shooting Fundamental (vs Marksmanship), Gear and Gadgets, and Basic and Advance Skill Development. The course includes classroom instruction, dry fire training, simulated shooting with laser equipped firearm simulators, and live fire training on the range. Instructors will provide firearms and ammunition for live fire training at the range. Students receive USCCA's Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals training manual (a $29.95 value). You must pass an open book test with 90% or better to receive you certificate at the end of the course. Course Fee: $115.00 ($35.00 deposit) covers cost of course and all course materials and range fees. Start Time 8:30 am

Aug 11th NRA FIRST STEP Rifle (MSR) Orientation:  This 5 to 6 hr. course includes classroom and range time learning to safely handle and shoot today’s Modern Sporting rifle (ArmaLite Rifle (AR) Platform). Students will learn NRA's rules for safe gun handling; MSR components and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the rifle; and continued opportunities for skill development. NAFT will provide a rifle (.223 cal) for training if you don’t own one. You will need to bring your own ammunition, or you can purchase .223 cal ammo for training from NAFT at the range for $25 for 60rds (recommended minimum for training). Students receive the NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook and a NRA Certificate upon successful completion of the course. Course Fee: $75 ($35 deposit) Start Time 8:30am. 

Aug 18th NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting ILT: This 8-hour course is for beginners who have not determined the type of pistol they wish to purchase. The course covers safe handling, the parts and functions of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition types and uses, shooting fundamentals, care and maintenance, and shooting skills. Pistols (.22 cal) and ammunition are furnished for this course. Students receive a Basics of Pistol Shooting Handbook and a NRA Certificate upon Completion. Course Fee: $130.00 ($75.00 deposit) Start Time 8:30 am.
