May 4th NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting - Instructor Led Training: This 8-hour course is for beginners who have not determined the type of pistol they wish to purchase. The course covers safe handling, the parts and functions of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition types and uses, shooting fundamentals, care and maintenance, and shooting skills. Guns and ammunition are furnished for this course. Students receive a Basics of Pistol Shooting Handbook and an NRA Certificate upon Completion. May 18th NRA Shotgun Instructor Certification: This 10-hour course is for NRA Instructors desiring to add Shotgun to their certifications. In order to attend the Shotgun Instructor Course, every candidate MUST show proof of successful completion (certificate) of the NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting Student Course. To receive certification, candidates must pass a written test with a 90% success rate and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and execute safe shotgun shooting activities. Course Fee: $225.00 ($100.00 deposit) Start Time: 8:30 am.
Jun 1st USCCA Concealed Carry Course: This 8-hour course is for anyone considering or currently carrying a firearm for self-defense and is designed for experienced shooters. The course addresses key concepts of conflict avoidance and situational awareness which are the foundation for developing your own personal protection plan. Training covers: self-defense firearms basics, defensive shooting fundamentals, the physiology of violent encounters, the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath), holsters and other equipment, and shooting skills development. Students receive USCCA's Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals training manual. The range activities require an Every Day Carry (EDC) firearm, your EDC holster, and 200 rounds of ammunition for your firearm. You will also need hearing protection and eye protection as well as appropriate clothing to include a concealment garment (vest, shirt, or jacket). Almost all of our range drills will begin with your firearm in a holstered and concealed position. Students must pass a written open book exam and demonstrate safe firearms handing to receive a USCCA course completion certificate. Course Fee: $225.00 ($100.00 deposit) Start Time: 8:30 am
Sun 8th & 9th USCCA Instructor Certification Course: Successfully passing this one-and-a-half-day course of instruction in conjunction with the USCCA's prerequisite instructor online training modules certifies you as a USCCA Instructor. USCCA requires instructor candidates to complete their online Instructor training modules AND purchase the USCCA Instructor Toolkit as a prerequisite for the classroom training with a USCCA Certified Training Counselor- there are no exceptions this requirement. To registrar contact the USCCA at (877) 577-4800, Mr. Rob Barry (firstname.lastname@example.org) will be the TC conducting the training. For this class all prerequisites must be completed prior to Jun 3, 2019, this allows the USCCA adequate time to prepare your certificates and identification cards for mailing after the successful conclusion of this course. Saturday’s training will include a working lunch provided by NAFT. Barring any issues course will be completed by 12:00 pm Sunday. Jun 15th NRA First Steps Rifle Orientation (MSR): This 6-hour(+) course includes classroom and range time learning to safely handle and shoot today’s Modern Sporting rifle (ArmaLite Rifle (AR) Platform). Students will learn NRA's rules for safe gun handling; MSR components and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the rifle; and continued opportunities for skill development. NAFT will provide a rifle (.223 cal) for training if you don’t own one. You will need to bring your own ammunition, or you can purchase .223 cal for training from NAFT at the range for $25 for 60rds (recommended minimum for training). Students receive the NRA Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook and a NRA Certificate upon successful completion of the course. Course Cost: $75 ($40 deposit) Start Time 8:30am.

Jun 29th USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Level 1: This 6-hour course uses intuitive teaching methods designed to provide you with efficient training for the most probable types of self-defense situations. This blended learning curriculum and is made up of a DSF-L1 online eLearning module and a follow-on session of live fire exercises on the range. Please contact Rob Berry (email@example.com) to reserve a space in the live-fire course. Please contact USCCA directly at 877-577-4800 to register for the e-Learning module and student packet ($30). Upon registration, the student will receive information on how to obtain access to the eLearning module and will be shipped the DSF-L1 book. The student must complete the eLearning (at their own pace) prior to the live fire course (NOTE: This is an advanced course and potential students should have a good understanding of the legal and moral implications of Concealed Carry). Course Cost: $150 ($70 deposit) Start Time 2:30 pm.
