Dec 7th USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundamentals (DSF) Level 1: This 6-hour course uses intuitive teaching methods designed to provide you with efficient training for the most probable types of self-defense situations. This blended learning curriculum and is made up of a DSF-L1 online eLearning module and a follow-on session of live fire exercises on the range. Please contact Rob Berry (rob@naft-llc.com) to reserve a space in the live-fire course. Please contact USCCA directly at 877-577-4800 to register for the e-Learning module and student packet ($30). Upon registration, the student will receive information on how to obtain access to the eLearning module and will be shipped the DSF-L1 book. The student must complete the eLearning (at their own pace) prior to the live fire course (NOTE: This is an advanced course and potential students should have a good understanding of the legal and moral implications of Concealed Carry). Course Fee: $150 ($75 deposit) Start Time 9:00 am.

Dec14th NRA Home Firearms Safety:  This is a non-shooting course designed to teach students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home. The course is conducted in a classroom. Students are taught NRA's three rules for safe gun handling; primary causes of firearms accidents' firearm parts; how to unload certain action types; ammunition components; cleaning; care; safe storage of firearms in the home; and the benefits of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports. Students receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook and other NRA materials and a course completion certificate.   Course Fee: $55 ($25 Deposit) Start Time 9:00 am.

Jan 11th NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course: This 8-hour class teaches beginning reloaders the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to safely reload metallic cartridges. The class is conducted in a classroom. Each student is taught reloading safety; centerfire cartridge components; using the reloading manual and reloading data; equipment; and the metallic cartridge reloading process. Students receive the NRA Guide to Reloading Handbook and other NRA materials and a course completion certificate upon successful completion of the student exam. Course Fee: $120 ($75.00 Deposit) Start Time 9:00 am.

Jan 18th NRA Refuse to Be a Victim Seminar:  The 4-hour Refuse To Be A Victim® (RTBAV) program is not a firearms or self-defense class. It’s a seminar that will help you improve personal safety strategies and will provide you with valuable information that you can apply in every area of your life. The NRA RTBAV seminar covers topics that pertain to both men and women. The information covered is appropriate for young adults, women, the disabled, parents, senior citizens etc. In addition, the RTBAV program materials also include special teaching modules for parents which discusses tips for children ages preschool to college, the handicapped and more.  Course Fee: $50.00 ($25 Deposit)  Start Time  9:00 am.

Jan 25th NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting - Instructor Led Training: This 8-hour course is for beginners who have not determined the type of pistol they wish to purchase. The course covers safe handling, the parts and functions of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition types and uses, shooting fundamentals, care and maintenance, and shooting skills. Guns and ammunition are furnished for this course. Students receive a Basics of Pistol Shooting Handbook and an NRA Certificate upon Completion. Course Fee: $135.00 ($75.00 deposit) Start Time 8:30 am.

Feb 7th-9th Camp Comer NRA Shotgun Instructor Certification Weekend: This is a three-day training event designed to meet all the NRA Training Requirements to become a NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor. The NRA Basics of Shotgun Shooting course, a prerequisite for the Instructor course, will get conducted on Friday the 7th for Instructor Candidates who have not taken the class. Saturday will include the NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) class followed by the NRA Shotgun Instructor Certification Class which will be completed on Sunday. Scout Leaders attending will receive a 20% discount on the BIT and Shotgun Instructor courses. The price includes include course all materials, firearms usage, ammunition, clays, 7 meals, and sleeping accommodations at Camp Comer.
